Welcome to the 140th Beaumont Unit
Cub Section Home page
The Cub Section is made up of boys & girls from Beaumont parish and the surrounding areas.
The recruitment ages range from 8-10 years old.
We meet on Wednesday evening from 7pm to 8.30pm at the Scout Den.
Activities include art & crafts, indoor & outdoor games, camping, day trips and lots more.
We are part of a bigger family, namely Cluain Toirc County. On occassions Cubs from all Cluain Toirc County groups get together for group events and competitions.
Most recently we entered the County Cub quiz which was held in Craobh Chiarans GAA Club in Donnycarney. We finished in second place and are automatically entitled to enter the Regional competition which will be held in the spring in 2010. Watch this space..
Our other achievement in 2009 was that we came 1st in the County Football Competition held in the 1st Fairview grounds during the summer.
